Shrink Your Female Fat Zones: Lose Pounds and Inches--Fast!--From Your Belly, Hips, Thighs, and More

This book is fantastic, I shed about 20 pounds with it.

Trying to do exercises that you are copying from a pinted page is a bit of a pain, but the diet for example is great. Is not one of those boring diets, it actually includes some munchies like Oreos and stuff.

Completely agree!

This book looks fantastic...

Is there a book you've read that sticks out as being totally outside your usual areas of literary interest? Why did you read it? What did you think?

I recall reading "The Secret Garden" by Frances Hodgson Burnett at the prompting of an ex girlfriend. She'd really enjoyed it as a kid. I'm embarrassed to say that I read the whole thing, all the while wanting to know what would become of Mary and Dickon and Colin.

I wish I would've read more as a kid!

I know the admin here is a photographer so maybe she'll have some thoughts on this. I don't know pap about photographicating and whatnot, but last weekend I went to this place where I live called The Legion of Honour. They had an exhibit by Annie Leibovitz. All black and white. Some subjects were celebs, naked Cindy Crawford with a huge python wrapped around her for instance. Some photos were outdoor scenes and random situations. I really liked one of this matador-looking dude who was just ...

Do you have any recommendations on self-taught language books?

I'm interested in learning French but I'm not into the whole investing time into going to an actual classroom with teachers and other students, and all that jazz.

I've seen those pocket books that come with a CD, with common used phrases, but they're too "touristy"... I'd like something more thorough than that, any ideas?
